Venue
The conference will be held at the Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa, located inside the Walt Disney World Resort® in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. ACSAC was also held at this venue in 2011, and attendee feedback was overwhelmingly positive.
The hotel offers guests special privileges such as access to Disney golf courses, complimentary transportation to all Disney theme parks, and dining with Disney characters. Adjacent to the Downtown Disney® area, the hotel is a luxurious haven offering unsurpassed comfort, hospitality, and design. Soaring 27 stories above the world's favorite destination, the Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa in the Walt Disney World® Resort is the tallest building overlooking Downtown Disney. An ACSAC evening event is planned for the top floor of the hotel venue, providing a view of the nightly Downtown Disney fireworks.

Reservations
Registering for the Conference does not reserve a room.
Reserve your room online, or by calling 866-397-6516 (toll-free) or +1-407-827-3333 and requesting the ACSA Annual Computer Security Applications Conference 2012 rate. The contracted hotel rate is the prevailing US Government per diem rate which is currently $97 for 2011 + 12.5% tax. The rate has not yet been established for 2012. If the rate changes, the hotel will adjust the rate after the 2012 per diem rates are established and published even if you have already registered at a lower rate. The government rate is for a single or double for a resort view guest room; other rooms with different views or accommodations for more than a double will be at a higher rate as indicated online or when you call the hotel.
Rates are available only until November 12, 2012. This year the hotel is very busy during ACSAC week so be sure to reserve your room early.
The hotel reservation system does not provide fields for specifying number of children, non-smoking room, or bed type. If you have a preference, enter it into the comments field.
Reservations must be changed or cancelled five (5) days prior to the day of arrival to avoid penalty. Any cancellation that occurs within five (5) days of arrival will be charged one (1) night's room and tax. Early departures will be charged full room and tax.
Room rates are available three (3) days prior and three (3) days after the conference, subject to availability.
Internet Access
Wired Ethernet and Wireless WiFi Iinternet access is available for free in hotel rooms and hotel public spaces.
The conference is providing Internet access in the conference meeting areas as a WiFi service. The service is provided for email and minimal browsing and is not intended for high bandwidth access.
Driving Directions
From Orlando International Airport: From the north end of the airport, take SR-528 (Beeline Expressway toll road) heading west. Merge onto I-4 West. From I-4, take Exit #68, then turn right onto SR-535. Turn left onto Hotel Plaza Boulevard, then right onto E. Buena Vista Drive. Hotel is on the right.
From Tampa: Take I-4 east to exit 68 for State highway 535 toward Lake Buena Vista. Turn left at S. Apopka Vineland Rd/Kissimmee Vineland Rd/ State Rd 535 and continue to follow S. Apopka Vineland Rd/State Rd 535.Turn left at Hotel Plaza Blvd/Preview Blvd and right at N. Buena Vista Drive. Hotel is on the right.
From Miami: Take 1-95 north to exit 12A on the left for Florida's Turnpike/State highway 826 west and keep left toward Florida Turnpike N/SR-91 (partial toll road). Take exit 254 for US-441 south/US-92 west and follow signs for 528 west (partial toll road) for four miles. Take the exit onto I-4 toward Tampa and take exit 68 toward Lake Buena Vista. Turn right at S. Apopka Vineland Rd/State Rd 535, turn left at Hotel Plaza Blvd/Preview Blvd, and right at N. Buena Vista Drive. Hotel is on the right.

Airport Shuttle Service
The hotel does not have a free shuttle to and from the airport. There are two companies you may choose from:
Mears Transportation leaves the airport about every 20-30 minutes. When you arrive at the airport, proceed to the baggage claim area to purchase your tickets, which currently cost $21.00 per adult and $17.00 per child one way or $34.00 per adult and $27.00 per child round trip.
SuperShuttle also has frequent departures from the airport. Upon arrival, call 407-513-0230 to check in with the dispatch office, then proceed to the baggage claim area where your driver will be sent to meet you at the base of the escalator closest to your assigned baggage claim carousel. SuperShuttle is extending ACSAC attendees a $5 discount by using the discount code MCOTB when calling 800-258-3826 or making reservations online. The discounted rates to the hotel are $18 one way, and $31 round trip.
If you prefer a car service, contact Sunray Transportation. The cost is approximately $105 + tip, with optional 30 minute stop at a grocery store.
Conference Meals
The conference will provide a continental breakfast and a mid-morning snack for ACSAC conference attendees on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Lunch and a mid-afternoon snack will be provided on Wednesday and Thursday. Tutorial and Workshop attendees will be provided with continental breakfast, lunch, and breaks on the day(s) they are registered. The conference will include a reception on Tuesday evening, a dinner Wednesday evening, and a reception on Thursday evening.
Hotel Dining
The hotel has seven onsite food and beverage choices. Sample a delicious steak at The Outback Restaurant, Dine with Disney characters at Watercress Café, Sip a cocktail, while admiring the water view from the Lobby Lounge, or visit Kooks Sports Bar.
