Transportation

From New Orleans Airport (MSY)
We recommend NOT renting a car. Big on atmosphere and ambiance, New Orleans is actually a geographically small town, which makes most journeys by cab very affordable. A cab ride costs $33.00 from the airport to the French Quarter for one or two passengers and $14.00 (per passenger) for three or more passengers. Pick-up is on the lower level, outside the baggage claim area. There may be an additional charge for extra baggage. Airport shuttle costs $38.00 Round Trip per person or $20.00 One-Way per person.
