Steve Walker spent 22 years as an employee of the U.S. Department of Defense, serving at the National Security Agency, the Advanced Research Projects Agency and the Office of the Secretary of Defense. Mr. Walker is recognized for his work on the DoD Computer Security Initiative, the establishment of the National Computer Security Center and the Defense Data Network. He is also regarded by many as the driving force behind the creation of the Orange Book and the entire Rainbow Book series. Steve was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Trusted Information Systems, Inc. (TIS), which he founded in 1983. Today, Steve Walker is Principal of Walker Investment Funds and President of Steve Walker & Associates (SWA).
