Panel: Growing the Skills Required for Trustworthy Software

Software forms an intrinsic and indivisible element of the emergent cyberspace domain, yet is contingent upon a variety of diverse participants and private firms, non-profit organisations, governments and individuals. It is therefore vital that intrinsic challenges to software are recognised and treated such that a trustworthy software ecosystem can be formed. This panel will include representatives from the public and private sectors in differing countries to discuss the breadth and depth of skills issues that need to be addressed to ensure that all sectors and disciplines appropriately specify, realise and use software that is safe, reliable, available, resilient and secure.
