Readout from the 4th Annual Secure and Resilient Architectures Invitational Workshop

Abstract:

The 4th Annual Secure and Resilient Cyber Architectures Invitational was held in May. It included over 140 thought leaders and practitioners of various aspects of cyber resiliency. It included tracks on

• Applying Cyber Resilience to Space

• Resilient Critical Infrastructures: Applying Cyber Resilience and Overcoming the Barriers to Acceptance

• Cyber Resilience and its Roles in the Systems Engineering Life Cycle

• Designing a Cyber Resilience Challenge for Integration and Demonstration

Two of the tracks, Cyber Resilience and its Roles in the Systems Engineering Life Cycle and Designing a Cyber Resilience Challenge for Integration and Demonstration have follow on activities over the course of this year. For the former the follow on activity is to aid in the development of resiliency appendix for NIST 800-160. For the latter, the follow on activity is to refine vignettes (generated at the invitational) that will be turned into integration experiments that will be presented at the 5th Resiliency Invitational in June 2015. This session will summarize the results of the Invitational and solicit ideas and volunteers to support the two ongoing tracks.
