Cybersecurity Test and Evaluation Lessons Learned, Peter Christensen
Abstract: The National Cyber Range (NCR) is a national asset, resourced through the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Test Management Resource Center (TRMC). Over three years, the NCR Team has developed a number of lessons learned that are relevant to the Application Development Community and anyone interested in Cybersecurity. For example, throughout the DOD, there is a realization that Cybersecurity cannot be an afterthought which drives changes in how program teams plan for, resource and execute Development and T&E. This realization has created increased demand for Cybersecurity T&E “As a Service” and the people and infrastructure that support it. Enhanced workforce and infrastructure ultimately enables DOD programs to adopt Agile Application Development approaches and concurrently improves delivery velocity and Cybersecurity. This presentation will discuss the NCR “Top Ten” Test and Evaluation (T&E) Lessons Learned.
