Panel: National Cybersecurity Research Directions
Session Chair: Daniel Faigin, The Aerospace Corporation
Abstract:
One of the goals of ACSAC is to connect those in industry and government with those doing the latest and greatest research. In this panel, representative from government agencies (with funding) describe to you their cybersecurity research needs. The goal of the panelists is to briefly answer the question: In what research areas does my organization need cybersecurity research performed? What funding is available for that research? How would researchers go about applying for that funding? We hope to have a lively question and answer with the attendees, with the goal of encouraging research that meets the needs of government.
