ACSAC 1997 Overview

	Technical Program. Refereed papers, panel sessions, and forum sessions hilighting the latest in implementation and applications research in computer security. Abstracts of most papers are available online. Wednesday-Friday, December 10-12.		Tutorial Program. Includes sessions on both introductory and advanced topics in network security, firewalls, web security, and other computer security areas. Monday/Tuesday, December 8/9th. Times vary.
	Special Issues Workshop on SmartCard Security. A free workshop sponsored by ACM to discuss the relationship between smartcards and security. Tuesday, December 9, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.		Conference Reception. An opportunity to meet other attendees and find out about security products and services. Wednesday at 5:30.
	Conference Dinner. Includes presentation of the best paper award. Thursday at 6:00.		Wild Animal Park. An optional social event to San Diego's Wild Animal Park. Friday at 12:30 p.m.
